Job summary

HSBC Philippines is seeking an experienced professional to join as Manager - Processing - Global Custody UK Asset Services. The role focuses on owning corporate action processes, allocating work, and ensuring risk controls within the Operations framework.

You will lead a team, drive quality and performance, and collaborate with global stakeholders to maintain service levels and regulatory compliance in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate diploma or degree in any discipline.
• Experience in a management position with staff development.
• Strong leadership with a track record of developing individuals.
• Analytical and data-mining skills to study trends and projections.
• Potentially willing to work non-standard Asian hours (e.g. UK hours).

Responsibilities

• Acquire broad understanding of Corporate Action processes and market specifications; allocate work daily to Processing Executives.
• Perform Quality Control; handle complex cases and resolutions.
• Plan capacities daily and intra-day based on projections; allocate resources accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with audit requirements in line with process standards.
• Provide leadership to the team; develop individuals to meet targets.
• Lead a cohesive team; create a supportive, value-driven environment.
• Oversee operational risk management and reporting per the framework.
• Monitor service quality and maintain high customer satisfaction.
