Job summary

Coherent Corp. is seeking an experienced Engineering Support professional to sustain production line requirements across process and equipment stages.

You will ensure all machines and stations operate reliably, coordinate preventive maintenance, calibrations, and repairs, and contribute to yield improvements and cost reductions. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with 3+ years of relevant experience in process/equipment engineering support.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology, or any Engineering Course with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in process and equipment engineering support.

Responsibilities

• Sustain production line requirements with respect to process and equipment engineering activities.
• Ensure machines/equipment/process stations are in good condition and meet production line requirements.
• Provide preventive maintenance, calibration support, machine repairs, and improvements to jigs/fixtures.

He/she is responsible in ensuring all machines/equipment/process stations are working in good condition and is able to meet requirement of production line. Other periodic responsibility includes preventive maintenance, calibration support, machine repairs, jigs and fixtures improvement, and support to any engineering activities related to yield improvement, cost reduction, product qualifications, etc.

Education & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology, or any Engineering Course (Diploma, Bachelors) or its equivalents with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in process and equipment engineering support.

Working Conditions

• This role is 100% onsite / hybrid / remote


• Shifting work, including Night Shift. Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed including weekends
