Job summary

Skyro is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Analyst to join our growing fintech team in Metro Manila. You will manage and optimize bulk location updates, work with SQL/APIs, and help automate processes using tools like n8n and Jira.

You will document procedures, coordinate with stakeholders, and contribute to PIP and continuous improvement efforts while gradually taking on more technical responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, CS, Data Analytics, or similar field.
• Comfortable with technical tools, systems and operational platforms.
• Basic understanding of SQL, APIs, JSON, and Swagger is preferred.
• Willingness to learn and work with n8n, Jira, Airtable and other systems.
• Strong attention to detail, especially with bulk updates and data.
• Able to follow detailed technical instructions and documented processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and update POS/merchant location parameters in bulk using scripts and Swagger.
• Execute prepared scripts and procedures while ensuring accuracy.
• Handle the operational tagging process: export location lists, determine sub-areas, validate results, update locations in bulk.
• Analyze errors reported by agents and managers; identify recurring issues and root causes.
• Coordinate with ASMs/SASs to understand issues, requirements and pain points.
• Translate requests into structured problem statements for the team.
• Support implementation and improvement of the PIP process.
• Create and manage Jira tickets; validate initial tickets before bulk creation.
• Perform recurring PIP-related operational activities, approx. once a month.
• Support automation initiatives using n8n (POS location creation, agent creation, task creation, others).
• Identify repetitive/manual processes for potential automation.
• Assist in documenting procedures and creating step-by-step guides.
• Analyze chat topics/actions for Agent/Manager Portals as role expands.
• Support procedure improvements for POS Support and Anti-Fraud teams.
• Work with Airtable and other operational tools as needed.
• Gradually take on Business Analysis and Process Improvement responsibilities.
• Collaborate with the team to reduce manual work and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and update POS/merchant location parameters in bulk using existing scripts and Swagger

• Execute prepared scripts and operational procedures while ensuring accuracy and preventing errors

• Handle the operational tagging process, including:

  • Exporting location lists using existing scripts

  • Determining the appropriate sub-area based on location addresses

  • Validating results with relevant stakeholders

  • Running prepared scripts to update locations in bulk

• Analyze errors and issues reported by agents and managers

• Identify recurring issues, patterns, and potential root causes

• Coordinate with ASMs/SASs to understand operational issues, requirements, and pain points

• Consolidate requests and translate them into structured problem statements or requirements for the team

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the PIP process

• Create and manage Jira tickets, including validating initial tickets before proceeding with bulk creation

• Perform recurring PIP-related operational activities, approximately once a month

• Support operational automation initiatives using n8n, including automation of processes such as:

  • POS location creation

  • Agent creation

  • Task creation

  • Other repetitive operational processes

• Identify repetitive or manual processes that may be candidates for automation

• Assist in documenting procedures and creating step-by-step operational guides

• Analyze chat topics and user actions for Agent and Manager Portals as the role expands

• Support the preparation and improvement of procedures for POS Support and Anti-Fraud teams

• Work with Airtable and other operational tools as needed

• Gradually take on Business Analysis and Process Improvement responsibilities, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and identifying opportunities for operational improvements

• Work closely with the team to continuously improve existing operational processes and reduce manual work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field

• Comfortable working with technical tools, systems, and operational platforms

• Basic understanding of SQL, APIs, JSON, and Swagger is preferred

• Willingness to learn and work with tools such as n8n, Jira, Airtable, and other operational systems

• Strong attention to detail, especially when handling bulk updates, scripts, and data

• Able to follow detailed technical instructions and documented processes accurately

• Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify patterns and recurring issues

• Comfortable communicating with different stakeholders, including ASMs, SASs, agents, managers, and internal teams

• Strong organizational and documentation skills

• Curious and proactive in understanding how processes work, rather than simply completing tasks mechanically

• Willingness to gradually take on more independent and technical responsibilities

• Experience in Operations, Business Analysis, Process Improvement, Technical Operations, or similar roles is an advantage
