Job summary

Coherent Corp in the Philippines is seeking a senior engineer to optimize and sustain electrical, optical, thermal, and burn-in test processes for chip-on-carrier/submount products. You will monitor data, drive improvements, and lead root-cause investigations to ensure yield and stability.

The role requires hands-on experience with test equipment and data analysis, including GR&R, DOE, SPC, and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent science courses.
3–5 years of experience in semiconductor or optoelectronics manufacturing.
Hands-on experience in test processes, qualification, data analysis and troubleshooting; Lean Six Sigma is a plus.

Responsibilities

Optimize and sustain test processes for chip on carrier/submount products.
Control test parameters and analyze data to identify trends and yield opportunities.
Qualify test equipment and measurement systems through GR&R and process capability.
Lead root-cause investigations and preventive/corrective actions for test failures and equipment issues.
Conduct DOE, SPC, GR&R, and data analysis to improve stability and productivity.
Support equipment qualification, NPI, product transfer, and training.
