Job summary

Coherent Corp. is seeking a senior manufacturing process engineer to lead development, optimization, and qualification of assembly and test processes. You will drive yield improvements and manage transfers, ramp-ups, and process validation, while mentoring engineers and coordinating with Product, Equipment, Quality, Operations and global teams.

100% onsite in the Philippines, with cleanroom work. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5+ years in semiconductor/manufacturing; Lean Six

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (electronics/electrical/mechanical/chemical).
• 5+ years in semiconductor, laser, photonics or optoelectronics manufacturing.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams; Lean Six Sigma certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, optimization, and qualification of manufacturing processes for assembly and test.
• Drive yield, quality, process capability, productivity and cost improvements via data-driven problem solving.
• Manage product transfer, equipment commissioning, process validation, and production ramp-up activities.
• Lead root-cause investigations and preventive/corrective actions for defects and reliability issues.
• Mentor process engineers and technicians with cross-functional coordination across Product, Equipment, Quality, Operations, and global teams.
