The role requires strong SMT manufacturing expertise, problem-solving skills, and collaboration with Quality, Production, Equipment Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2-5 years of SMT Process Engineering experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, optimize, and sustain SMT production processes to achieve quality, productivity, and cost targets.
• Analyze manufacturing issues and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve process capability and product quality.
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as yield, OEE, cycle time, and defect levels.
• Lead root cause analysis using 8D, Fishbone Diagram, and 5 Why Analysis.
• Support NPI, process qualification, and production ramp-up activities.
• Conduct process validations, capability studies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Quality, Production, Equipment Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, PFMEA, and control plans.
• Provide technical support and training to production personnel.
• Evaluate and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and quality.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven SMT Process Engineer to support and continuously improve our Surface Mount Technology (SMT) manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for process optimization, yield improvement, defect reduction, and ensuring stable, efficient, and high-quality SMT production processes.

This role requires strong technical expertise in SMT manufacturing, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and sustain SMT production processes to achieve quality, productivity, and cost targets.
• Analyze manufacturing issues and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve process capability and product quality.
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, OEE, cycle time, and defect levels.
• Lead root cause analysis using problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, Fishbone Diagram, and 5 Why Analysis.
• Support new product introduction (NPI), process qualification, and production ramp-up activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2-5 years of experience in SMT Process Engineering within an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
