Job summary

Aumovio SE is seeking a hands-on SMT manufacturing specialist to develop, implement, and continuously improve SMT processes for quality, productivity, and cost objectives.

You will optimize solder paste printing, SPI, pick-and-place, reflow, AOI, monitor OEE/FPY, validate processes, and support automotive/high-reliability environments, collaborating with Maintenance and Quality teams.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of SMT manufacturing operations experience in high-volume electronics manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with SMT processes and equipment, including solder paste printing, SPI, pick-and-place, reflow ovens, AOI, and related process controls.
• Proven experience in process optimization, troubleshooting, yield improvement, and defect reduction within SMT production lines.
• Strong knowledge of quality and problem-solving methodologies (8D, 7 QC Tools, CAPA, FMEA, SPC, RCA).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve SMT manufacturing processes to achieve quality, productivity, and cost goals.
• Optimize SMT process parameters including solder paste printing, SPI, pick-and-place placement, reflow soldering, and AOI inspection.
• Monitor and improve OEE, FPY, process capability, and throughput.
• Conduct process validation, machine qualification, and line readiness activities for new product introductions.
• Provide technical support for SMT production lines and automated equipment.
• Troubleshoot process, machine, and quality-related issues to minimize downtime and production losses.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to improve equipment reliability and preventive maintenance effectiveness.
