Job summary

Doxo Ingredients, Inc. is seeking a design engineer in the Philippines to develop and optimize core food manufacturing systems, including automated and processing equipment.

The role requires field data collection, performance testing, and producing complete technical drawings and documentation for projects. The ideal candidate holds a BS in engineering related to food manufacturing and has at least three years of hands-on design experience, with proficiency in CAD tools such as SketchUp and

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years experience in food manufacturing design.
• Proficiency with CAD software (SketchUp, AutoCAD, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate and optimize core food manufacturing systems, including automated systems and processing equipment.
• Conduct field inspections and collect data for performance testing and analysis of equipment.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, schematics and project documents.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Engineers on utilities required to support process equipment.
• Lead engineering projects from design through installation, commissioning and start-up.
• Work with Maintenance to establish corrective and preventive maintenance for equipment.
• Performs other related tasks as assigned.

Job description

Job Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other food manufacturing related discipline
• Minimum of 3 years experience in food manufacturing design
• Proficient in CAD software (SketchUp, AutoCAD, etc.)
• Knowledgeable in GMP and hygienic equipment design
• Willing to be assigned in Quezon City

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, integrate and optimize core food manufacturing systems, including automated systems, thermal processing equipment, material handling systems and other related manufacturing processes
• Conduct field inspections and surveys to collect data and perform performance testing and analysis on equipment
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, schematics and project documentation
• Collaborate with Mechanical Engineers on the design and implementation of utilities required to support process equipment
• Implementation of engineering projects from design through installation, commissioning, and start-up, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Utilities team to establish corrective and preventive maintenance programs for process equipment, including the ordering of spare parts
• Performs other related tasks as assigned
