Job summary

VBP Back Office Solutions Inc. is seeking a Process Analyst to support Finance teams by analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and driving improvements across projects and operations.

The role involves process mapping, SOP development, UAT coordination, and change management, with a focus on delivering practical solutions and strong stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Process Analysis, Business Analysis, or related field.
• Strong requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation skills.
• Experience with Visio or similar process-mapping tools.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methods is a plus.
• Experience supporting solution design, testing, and change management.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business, functional, and operational requirements.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions.
• Analyse current processes to identify risks, inefficiencies, and improvements.
• Develop process maps, workflows, SOPs, user guides, and RACI matrices.
• Recommend and implement process improvements and automation.
• Support solution design, testing, configuration, and business rules.

Overview of the Role

The Process Analyst supports Finance teams by deep-diving into business processes, understanding business requirements, identifying problems and root causes, and recommending fit-for-purpose solutions. The role combines strong analytical capability, attention to detail, documentation and process mapping with practical execution supported by project and change management disciplines.

Working across both project and operational environments, the Process Analyst engages stakeholders, translates business needs into clear requirements, supports solution design and testing, and helps embed improvements. Success requires an organised, collaborative and team-oriented approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously without losing sight of process detail, controls or business outcomes.

Main duties include:

• Gathering and documenting business, functional, and operational requirements.

• Coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, and issue resolution.
• Supporting project delivery through Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
• Providing go-live support, training, change management, and business readiness activities.
• Managing stakeholder communications, project updates, risks, and dependencies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Process Analysis, Business Analysis, Continuous Improvement, or a related field.
• Strong business requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation skills.
• Experience using Visio or similar process-mapping tools.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies is an advantage.
• Experience supporting solution design, testing, implementation, and change management.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis capabilities.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience working with remote/offshore teams is advantageous.
• Exposure to payroll systems, Workday, or Xero is desirable.
