Job summary

Faithm Printers and Services is seeking an on-site Service Technician to maintain and repair office equipment, install new machines, and support the sales team with equipment placement. You will ensure high customer satisfaction, manage parts inventory, and train end users as needed.

The role requires motorcycle ownership, a valid driver’s license, and basic computer skills. NCII is an advantage. Join a hands-on team dedicated to rapid issue resolution and reliable service.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or technical diploma/certificate in a relevant field.
• With or without experience.
• Must own a motorcycle and have a valid driver's license.
• With pleasing personality.
• Computer literate.
• NCII certificate an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely and cost-effective maintenance and repair of office product equipment and promoting customer satisfaction with our service and products.
• Provide technical assistance with installation of new machines.
• Repair machines for quality issues.
• Place orders for parts and supplies to refill inventory as requested by admin and finance.
• Set aside parts and supplies depending on the number of machines.
• Maintain a record of issues and solutions.
• Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure optimum operating condition.
• Handle customer issues as quickly as possible.
• Assist the sales department with new equipment for proper placement and operation; communicate equipment problems and solutions to the team.
• Take up tasks such as new equipment setup, equipment reconditioning and general technical service.
• Collaborate with other technicians to maintain optimum response time and customer satisfaction.
• Track technician metrics such as response time and calls per day; report to supervisor.
• Complete and possess the following successfully; maximize equipment uptime through timely response and effective repair with customer training.
• Troubleshoot and think independently.
• Demonstrate mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to train end users.
