• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in printing operations.
• Relevant vocational qualifications or certifications in printing technology (preferred).
• Experience with digital printing technology or colour management systems (advantageous).

About the role

Private Company is seeking a skilled and dedicated Printer to join our production team in Calamba City, Laguna. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our printing and publishing operations. As a Printer, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials that meet our clients' specifications and quality standards. This role is essential to our ability to deliver excellent service to our customers and maintain our reputation as a leading printing and publishing service provider.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain various printing equipment, including offset presses, digital printers, flexographic and other machinery
• Prepare printing plates and set up machines according to job specifications and work orders
• Monitor print quality during production runs and make necessary adjustments to ensure colour accuracy and alignment
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of printing equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Load paper and other materials into printing machines and manage inventory of supplies
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and report any technical issues to supervisors or maintenance personnel
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and delivery schedules
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards before packaging
