Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking an experienced Principal Test Engineering lead to guide the Sustaining and Enhancement Test Engineering team in a hands-on leadership role.

The successful candidate will manage Test Engineers while actively contributing to day-to-day test engineering work across analog, power, and mixed-signal semiconductor products, ensuring high performance and robust test solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics/computer engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Test Engineers in sustaining and enhancement activities.
• Coordinate workload and resources across sustaining projects.
• Drive test program maintenance, debug, and optimization across ATE platforms.
• Improve yield, throughput, coverage, and test time.
• Review ECOs and guide test flow changes.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
