Job summary

Microchip Technology is seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to join the Analog Peripheral Interface Division (APID). You will lead pre- and post-silicon test activities, develop test programs and ATE boards, and collaborate with global design, verification, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure robust product delivery.

You will apply deep knowledge of digital/analog circuitry, ATE hardware/software, and data analysis to optimize yield, test coverage, and process efficiency while aligning

Qualifications

• BSEE/BSECE or equivalent with 3+ years of experience, preferably in Semiconductor Test Engineering.
• Strong understanding of digital and analog circuits from transistor to system level.
• Experience with ATE hardware/software development.
• Familiarity with automotive standards and semiconductor quality requirements.
• Strong statistical data analysis skills (MSA, GRR, ANOVA).
• Proficient in Windows environments and version control (Git, SVN).

Responsibilities

• Develop pre-silicon characterization test plans based on product features.
• Develop test programs and ATE board design for new and existing initiatives.
• Support R&D and Operations for manufacturability and quality.
• Debug test programs and perform characterization tests.
• Analyze silicon performance, yield, and device marginalities.
• Drive cost and quality improvements across fabrication, assembly, and test.
