Job summary

Deel is seeking a Principal Designer to collaborate with the Chief Design Officer on frontier initiatives. You will shape orchestration, moving users from intent to resolution across a coherent experience layer, while partnering with product, engineering, and design teams to maintain coherence and scalability.

The role requires 10+ years in design, with at least 2 years at principal level, and a strong capability in prototyping, storytelling, and AI-native design practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in design, including 2+ years at principal level or equivalent seniority.
• Experience leading in fast-paced, high-complexity product environments.
• Strong prototyping, visual, and interaction design skills.

Responsibilities

• Design at the frontier by turning undefined vision into prototyped experiences anchored in orchestration.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and design leads to ensure coherence and scalability.
• Prototype and test interaction paradigms, including agentic workflows and personalization systems.
• Design experiences powered by segmentation and personalization infrastructures without owning data models.
• Advance design patterns and contribute to the design system.
• Align across product, engineering and leadership with compelling design narratives.
