Job summary

CodeRound is seeking a Fullstack Frontend Architect to serve as the technical anchor for the frontend organization, driving technical excellence and solving complex problems such as high-performance canvases with thousands of AI-generated nodes and real-time collaboration.

This high-leverage, hands-on role balances deep-work coding, day-to-day execution, and long-term technical direction with mentoring for the frontend team.

Responsibilities

• Own module boundaries, state/data flow, rendering strategy, and extensibility.
• Drive the frontend roadmap through RFCs and architecture reviews, balancing speed-to-market with long-term maintainability.
• Own frontend performance across large documents, long sessions, and memory usage.
• Set the bar for testing, CI quality gates, observability, and release reliability to ensure a "zero-regression" culture.
• Partner closely with Design, Product, and Backend teams on key tradeoffs, API design, and distributed systems.
• Mentor engineers and raise the frontend engineering craft across the organization through code reviews and technical workshops.

In this role, you will be the primary driver of our product's technical excellence, solving complex problems like maintaining high performance on canvases with thousands of AI-generated nodes and architecting real-time collaborative systems.This is a high-leverage, hands-on role. You will balance deep-work coding and day-to-day execution with long-term technical direction and mentoring.
