Job summary

Deltek seeks an experienced IT professional to support, enhance, and integrate ERP systems across financial modules, driving scalable designs and secure interfaces. You will collaborate with Finance, Tax, Audit, and IT teams, lead complex projects, and implement automation to improve data quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and enhance ERP platforms and core financial systems (GL, O2C, P2P, Rev Rec, Billing).
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Revenue, Tax, and Audit to translate requirements into scalable designs.
• Design, configure, and deliver ERP enhancements across full lifecycle.
• Lead ERP integrations with CRM, HRIS, Data Warehouses, and third-party vendors.
• Utilize iPaaS to build, monitor, and support secure interfaces.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for ERP, integration, and data issues.
• Participate in Agile delivery including backlog grooming, sprints, testing, releases.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, developers, and project managers on secure solutions.
• Develop architecture diagrams, integration docs, and runbooks for audit readiness.
• Identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI to improve processes and data quality.
• Participate in code reviews and release management for new apps/updates.
• Interface with third-party vendors to manage escalations.

Job description

Position Responsibilities:

• Support, maintain, and enhance ERP platforms and core financial systems, including General Ledger, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Revenue Recognition, Billing, and connected systems.
• Partner closely with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Revenue, Tax, and Audit teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable system designs and solutions.
• Design, configure, and deliver ERP enhancements across the full lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Lead and contribute to ERP integrations between financial systems and adjacent platforms such as CRM, HRIS, Data Warehouses, and third-party vendors.
• Utilize integration platforms (iPaaS) to build, monitor, and support reliable, secure, and auditable system interfaces.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex ERP, integration, and data issues, ensuring accuracy of financial data and system reliability.
• Participate in Agile delivery, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, and release management for ERP and finance-related initiatives.
• Collaborate with solution architects, business system analysts, developers, and project managers to evaluate technical options and deliver secure, compliant, and scalable solutions.
• Develop and maintain architectural diagrams, integration documentation, and operational runbooks to support system integrity, audit readiness, and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required
• A minimum of 8-10 years of experience working in an IT environment
• At least 6-8 years of experience as a developer and/or system engineer
• Experience leading complex projects/tasks
• Experience with database deployments, schema changes, maintenance planning, data integrity checks, and supporting production and audit needs.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex data issues across ERP, integrations, and reporting layers.
• Experience in full project life cycle development for systems and applications
• Experience integrating and customizing business applications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels, from junior developers to senior managers and business customers
• A strong desire to learn the latest technologies and the ability to acquire knowledge quickly
• Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills

Technical Knowledge & Skills:

• Experience supporting enterprise ERP systems (e.g., financial modules, order management, billing, revenue, procurement).
• Strong proficiency with REST APIs, JSON, XML, event-based integrations, and data transformation patterns.
• Experience with IPass solutions such as Power Automate, UiPath, MuleSoft, Boomi, and IBM App Connect
• Hands-on experience and knowledge of DBA tasks, including deployment, maintenance planning, string manipulation, and authoring SQL statements
• Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Power Platform, Power Automate, and related services is a plus. Experience with Enterprise Applications Production support (on-prem and SaaS )
• Experience with PowerShell or similar scripting tools to support automation, deployments, and operational support.
