Routine Inspections: Conduct regular checks on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to identify worn parts or potential failures early.
Scheduled Servicing: Perform routine tasks such as cleaning, calibrating, adjusting, and lubricating machinery according to manufacturer guidelines.
Minor Repairs: Diagnose equipment malfunctions and replace defective components before they cause major operational halts.
Record Keeping: Document all maintenance activities, service logs, and parts usage accurately using maintenance software (CMMS).
Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to workplace health and safety rules, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols.
Cross-Department Coordination: Work with production or facility teams to schedule maintenance during low-impact hours.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: High school diploma with vocational training, or a degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Technology.
Experience: 1 to 3+ years working in industrial, manufacturing, or facilities maintenance.
Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, plus the ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in tight or elevated spaces.
Soft Skills: Good problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and clear communication.
