Job summary

Aboitiz Foods is seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to operate machine shop equipment, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensure equipment reliability across the plant. You will work with lathe, roll grinding, and fluting operations while maintaining adherence to quality and food-safety standards.

The role requires interpreting mechanical drawings, basic hand tools proficiency, and clear communication in English or the local language.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Mechanical Engineering Course or graduate of any related vocational/ technical course.
• At least three years experience in related works.
• Capability to interpret mechanical drawings, symbols and plans.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English or in the vernacular both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Operates machine shop equipment to fabricate and repair parts per precise specifications.
• Performs daily preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
• Uses precision measuring tools to verify part dimensions and calibrates measuring instruments.
• Responds to shifting duty requirements, night calls and maintenance emergencies as needed.
• Maintains accurate completion of Job Orders and regular updating of Maintenance Work Order Reports.
