Job Description

Machine and Equipment Maintenance

• Operates machine shop equipment for parts fabrication, roll grinding, fluting, milling and other related machining works ensuring that spare parts produced conform to machine specifications.
• Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery ensuring the efficient running and prolonged service life of the machines and equipment.
• Fabricates simple spare parts and performs mechanical installations.
• Attends to shifting duty, night calls and other maintenance emergencies as the need arises.
• Documents all accomplished Job Orders and ensures that the Maintenance Work Order Report is updated.
• Performs calibration of all measuring equipment as may be required ensuring that devices remain reliable and that these conform to ISO requirements as need arises.

Raw Material Unloading Operations

• Performs Raw Material unloading operations and assists unloading Foreman ensuring maximum feed rate of discharging machines/ equipment used and that unloading time does not exceed existing standards.
• Acts as foreman during Raw Material unloading overseeing operations ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment.
• Coordinates with Siloman on details of silo space ensuring that the silo space ensuring that the silo space is available and is filled with the correct type and quantity of Raw Material.
• Troubleshoots unloading equipment ensuring that these run properly during Raw Material unloading operations.

Other Related Tasks to Operation

• Assures the accuracy and completeness of all Monitoring files, engineering records, reports, prints, and tasks of assigned projects.
• Learns and understands other processes through immersion and development training in other departments.
• Acts as reliever to production personnel as may be required.
• Establishes, maintains, recommends and implements a good housekeeping program for all areas of responsibility to ensure compliance to food safety standards set by GMP, HACCP & Halal.
• Lubricates plant machines and equipment in the absence of Lubman.
• Actively participates in company programs and provides support at all times.
• Performs related mechanical work as support to the department objective.
• Ensures compliance to food safety, good housekeeping and quality management system based on the standards of 5S, GMP, HACCP, Halal and ISO.
• Performs other tasks as maybe assigned by the immediate superior.

FOOD SAFETY

• Complies with quality, Halal, health and food safety policy, standards and regulations of the company.
• Responsible for reporting problems related to Halal, food safety & quality management system to identified authorities.

Qualifications
