Job summary

DXC Technology in the Philippines seeks a Pre-Sales SAP Solution Architect to define end-to-end SAP architectures and translate complex requirements into scalable, secure solutions. You will lead solution design across SAP transformation, implementation, upgrade, migration, and AMS engagements.

As a trusted advisor to customers and delivery teams, you will conduct discovery, workshops, proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and architecture governance, ensuring alignment with SAP Activate and DXC

Qualifications

• 12 to 18 years of IT experience.
• 8–10 years SAP consulting experience.
• 3–5 years in a solution/lead architect role.
• Experience delivering end-to-end SAP implementations.
• Strong SAP S/4HANA and digital transformation expertise.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead presales responses to RFPs/RFIs and develop proposals.
• Define target-state SAP architectures, landscapes, and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with sales, delivery, and resource teams on sizing and pricing.
• Present architectures in client workshops and sessions.
• Ensure designs adhere to SAP best practices and DXC methodologies.

The Pre- Sales SAP Solution Architect is responsible for defining end-to-end SAP solution architecture and translating complex business requirements into scalable, integrated, secure, and future-ready solutions.

In this role, you will lead solution design across SAP transformation, implementation, upgrade, migration, and Application Management Services engagements. You will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, delivery teams, and account leadership while ensuring that proposed solutions align with SAP best practices, enterprise architecture standards, and DXC Technology delivery methodologies.

You will also support business development and solutioning activities, including discovery workshops, proposal development, RFP and RFI responses, effort estimation, architecture governance, and executive-level presentations.

Essential Job Functions:

Presales and Solutioning:

• Support responses to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and other client proposal requests.
• Develop solution architectures, effort estimates, assumptions, dependencies, and delivery models.
• Collaborate with commercial, sales, delivery, and resource management teams on sizing, pricing, and workforce planning.
• Participate in solution presentations, client workshops, and proposal-defense sessions.
• Contribute to reusable assets, accelerators, reference architectures, and solution frameworks.
• Help identify opportunities for innovation, optimization, and expansion within existing client accounts.

SAP Solution Architecture and Design

• Lead end-to-end SAP solution architecture for SAP S/4HANA transformation, implementation, migration, and AMS opportunities.
• Define target-state architecture, application landscapes, integration models, and technology roadmaps.
• Conduct fit-gap assessments and recommend solutions based on SAP best practices.
• Design secure, scalable, and integrated solutions across SAP and non-SAP ecosystems.
• Ensure alignment with SAP Activate methodology and enterprise architecture principles.
• Review and approve functional and technical design documents.
• Define architecture standards, solution principles, and reusable design patterns.

Business and Client Engagement

• Engage with business and technology stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, challenges, and solution requirements.
• Facilitate discovery workshops, architecture discussions, and solution design sessions.
• Present solution approaches, transformation strategies, architecture roadmaps, and recommendations to client leadership.
• Serve as a trusted advisor for SAP modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes for executive and nontechnical audiences.

SAP Transformation Programs

Lead or provide architecture oversight for programs involving:

• SAP S/4HANA greenfield implementations
• SAP S/4HANA brownfield or system conversions
• Selective data transition programs
• RISE with SAP programs
• SAP Business Technology Platform adoption
• SAP Application Management Services transformation
• SAP cloud and hybrid landscape modernization
• Integration and data migration initiatives

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Typically, 12 to 18 years of overall information technology experience.
• At least 8 to 10 years of SAP consulting experience.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a Solution Architect, Lead Architect, or comparable architecture leadership role.
• Experience delivering multiple end-to-end SAP implementations or enterprise transformation programs.
• Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA architecture and digital transformation.
• Experience developing enterprise architecture, application architecture, integration architecture, and technology roadmaps.
• Experience leading solution workshops and engaging senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, stakeholder-management, and consulting skills.
• Experience supporting complex solutioning, proposal development, or large-scale pursuits.
