• Submits offer price and volume to WESM
• Monitors WESM outcomes and declares bilateral contract volumes of FGen to WESM to ensure maximum revenues and minimal costs
• Analyzes the power grid situation critical in ensuring that FGen bid submissions are sound, with the end goal of maximizing revenues
• Analyzes the existing plants operating in the system to determine the adequacy of supply in the system and to monitor competing generation facilities
• Analyzes the behavior of loads to determine First Gen Corporation's supply strategy
• Perform Day-Ahead Forecasts and ensure optimal dispatch of the trading portfolio
• Compiles power industry databases from various sources
• Prepares regular reports on the industry development, particularly on the WESM
