Manulife is seeking an Investment Operations Senior Specialist, Optimization & Automation to lead automation initiatives across Global WAM Investments Operations using Power Platform. Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Finance, CS, Data Analytics, IT or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in investment operations or related functions with data visualization and automation.
• Strong knowledge of Power Platform and related tools; ability to develop scalable automation solutions.

The Investment Operations Senior Specialist, Optimization & Automation is responsible for developing, implementing, and enhancing automation tools to support continuous improvement initiatives across Global WAM Investment Operations functions using Microsoft PowerPlatform. This role requires Investment domain expertise and deep understanding of PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI to create efficient and scalable solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of stakeholders across the Global WAM Investments Operations group. Additionally, the role involves fostering cross-departmental collaboration to optimize information flow, identifying opportunities for process improvements, and staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in automation.

Roles and Responsibilities

• To enhance investment operations workflows - design, develop, and maintain custom applications and automation workflows using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate and ensure seamless connectivity between Power Platform components and other Microsoft services such as SharePoint, Teams, Outlook.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable automation solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation and diligently work with Investment Operations and other internal/external teams on process and production updates and issues relevant to completion of tasks at hand.
• Conduct thorough testing of applications and workflows to ensure quality and reliability.
• Manage the deployment and maintenance of Power Platform solutions, ensuring they meet organizational standards and compliance requirements.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the adoption and effective use of Power Platform solutions.
• Develop documentation and user guides to support solution implementation and usage.
• Stay informed of the latest Power Platform features and updates, recommending enhancements and optimizations as necessary.
• Aid in the functional and technical capability development of the team.
• Ensure procedures are updated and lead the annual procedure exercise.
• Remain updated with relevant industry development and market-specific best practices.
• Participate in learning and development program to advance skills and knowledge in the Power Platform ecosystem to ensure continuity of service and capability development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology or any related course.
• Operational experience or exposure to functions relating to Investments / Market Operations such as reconciliations, asset servicing, settlements, onboarding, static data.
• 3-5 years of experience in investment operations related functions with data visualization, workflow automation, and business intelligence tools and/or other similar platforms.
• Basic knowledge on different investment and/or financial products.
• Intermediate to Advanced MS Office skills.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS PowerPlatform and related tools.
• Track record of continuous improvement projects leveraging Power Platform is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of database management and SQL is an advantage.
