Job summary

Manulife is seeking an Investment Operations Senior Specialist, Optimization & Automation in Manila. You will design and deploy Power Platform-based automation, build Power BI dashboards, and collaborate across departments to streamline investment operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology or related field.
• Operational experience or exposure to Investments / Market Operations such as reconciliations, asset servicing, settlements, onboarding, static data.
• 3-5 years of experience in investment operations with data visualization, workflow automation, and BI tools.
• Basic knowledge of different investment/financial products.
• Intermediate to Advanced MS Office skills.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Power Platform and related tools.
• Track record of continuous improvement projects leveraging Power Platform is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of database management and SQL is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Enhance investment operations workflows by designing, developing, and maintaining apps and automation with Power Apps and Power Automate and connect with other Microsoft services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into scalable automation solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and work with teams on updates and issue resolution.
• Test applications and workflows to ensure quality and reliability.
• Manage deployment and maintenance of Power Platform solutions meeting standards and compliance.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI for actionable insights.
• Provide training and support to end-users to maximize adoption.
• Develop documentation and user guides for implementation and usage.
• Stay informed of latest Power Platform features and recommend enhancements.
• Aid in team capability development and lead annual procedures exercise.
• Stay updated with industry developments and best practices.
