Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking an Operating Shift Supervisor (Unit / BOP) to supervise and direct all operating activities of the units and BOP to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient power station operations.

The role involves overseeing control room and field operations, ensuring 24-hour production targets, safety compliance, and coordination with inter-department teams. PRC license is advantageous; degree required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years in Power Generation with 3 years as Control Room Operator, 2 years as Plant Operator, 2 years as Assistant Plant Operator.
• PRC License (advantageous); basic project and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise control room and field operations for 24-hour production targets.
• Manage safety and regulatory compliance including PTW, LOTO, and risk assessments.
• Direct maintenance handovers, test runs, and switchgear operations (500kV/230kV).
• Lead, coach, and evaluate shift personnel and investigate incidents.
