Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor in the ETSV department at the Mariveles, Bataan power plant. You will lead a team of mechanical engineers responsible for all plant mechanical systems and key auxiliaries, reporting to the Systems Engineering Manager.

You will drive reliability through health programs, maintenance strategies, and long-term planning, while coordinating with OEMs and cross-functional teams to ensure safe, efficient plant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering and a licensed professional engineer is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in power generation engineering/technical roles.
• Expert knowledge of rotating equipment, boiler systems, steam turbines, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, piping, and coal handling.
• Strong communication and leadership skills for effective team management.
• Experience managing OEM relationships and developing maintenance strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and mentor a team of mechanical systems engineers across Steam Turbine, Boiler, and BOP systems.
• Establish and optimize health programs for boilers, turbines, and BOP equipment.
• Set up and trend plant indicators to adjust maintenance strategies and operating specifications.
• Formulate Life of Plant Plan (LOPP) and 5-year technical plan; manage annual mechanical budget.
• Provide RCA support during outages and coordinate OEM interfaces.
