Job summary

A growing renewable energy company in Pangasinan is seeking a skilled Power Plant Operator (REE) to join its Operations & Maintenance team for the Bugallon Solar Project. The ideal candidate will monitor the SCADA system, conduct inspections, and manage operational documentation. Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in solar or power plants. Qualifications

SUMEC is expanding its Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team for the Bugallon Solar Project. We’re looking for a skilled Power Plant Operator to help ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Monitor and operate the SCADA system for real-time plant performance
• Detect and respond to system alarms, faults, and abnormalities
• Conduct routine inspections of PV farm, inverter stations, and weather monitoring systems
• Prepare daily generation reports and manage operational documentation
• Handle outage and resumption reporting
• Support overall O&M activities and technical documentation

Who We’re Looking For:

Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 1–2 years of relevant experience (solar or power plant experience is an advantage)
• Knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Applicants near Bugallon, Pangasinan are highly preferred
