Job summary

Meralco PowerGen (MGEN) is seeking a Customer Affairs Officer in Pasig to drive marketing, accounts management, and customer services across wholesale and retail markets. The role blends commercial insight with power industry knowledge to grow market share and ensure effective contract handling.

You will manage accounts, monitor contracts, lead customer-relations initiatives, and assist in marketing efforts for various power products and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/College degree in business, economics, marketing, social sciences, and communication courses.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Management: Manage bilateral supply/capacity contracts with utilities, consortia, suppliers, and System Operator/Transmission Network Provider.
• Contracts Monitoring: Monitor pre-conditions of contract effectivity and approval processes.
• Customer Relations and Services: Develop initiatives related to customer relations and oversee related projects.
• Marketing of Products/Services: Assist in marketing calls for PPA, Ancillary Service Procurement Agreement, Replacement Power Contract, and other contracts; study viability to participate in bidding calls; prepare bid offers and proposals; help develop Marketing Plans.
• Portfolio Management: Assist in contract negotiation, perfection, and regulatory approvals; support ER 1-94 projects; conduct needs assessments of host DUs and communities; assist External Affairs during implementation and monitoring.
• Technical Provisions: Conduct market research on customer requirements, demand, and industry initiatives relevant to Commercial, Sales, and Business Development.
• After-Contract Execution Services: Assist with customer billing disputes and after-sale services; perform other tasks as needed.
