AboitizPower is seeking a Power Marketing Specialist to drive sales strategies and manage end-to-end contract processes. You will participate in CSPs, lead PSA negotiations, and work with cross-functional teams to expand market share in assigned territories.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or engineering/finance disciplines.
  • Experience in power industry or industrial marketing is beneficial.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial, legal, and financial principles in energy contracts.

Responsibilities

As Power Marketing Specialist, you will drive sales strategies, lead competitive bidding and contract negotiations, and foster key customer relationships to maximize market share across assigned territories. You will contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world by expanding energy access, navigating complex industry regulations, and building sustainable power partnerships. You will work closely with the Sales Team, Business Development, Legal, Regulatory, and external energy industry stakeholders to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be
  • Lead Competitive Selection Process (CSP) participation and end-to-end Power Sales Agreement (PSA) negotiations, including bid preparation, proposal recommendations, and contract refinement with Legal and Regulatory teams.
  • Execute Business Sales Programs and territory management strategies to map customer coverage and expand business opportunities with prospective and existing clients.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research across industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to generate strategic insights for executive decision-making.
  • Manage end-to-end account and contract implementation—resolving customer issues, tracking contract performance with Pricing, and organizing stakeholder engagement programs.

What You Will Need

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, Economics, Finance, or any 4-year business-related course.

At least 1 year of experience in the power industry OR 1 to 2 years in industrial marketing.

Technical / Functional Skills: Proficiency in commercial, marketing, legal, and financial principles related to supply agreements, power price setting, and contract management. Strong understanding of power industry operations (generation, transmission, distribution) and key regulatory frameworks (ERC regulations, NGCP, WESM, NPC, and DOE policies).
