Job summary

AboitizPower at the Mariveles site seeks an Operating Shift Supervisor to oversee Units and the Balance of Plant, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient power station operations. You will coordinate with the Operating Shift Superintendent, Control Room Operators, Plant Operators, and cross-functional teams to deliver results. A Bachelor's in Engineering and 7+ years in power generation are required. PRC license is advantageous. MAXIMO, PTW/LOTO, and LV/HV switching experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years in the Power Generation Industry, including 3 years as Control Room Operator, 2 years as Plant Operator, and 2 years as Assistant Plant Operator.
• PRC License (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Supervise control room and field operations to meet 24-hour production targets.
• Manage safety and regulatory compliance through risk assessments, PTW/LOTO, and incident investigations.
• Direct equipment changeovers, test runs, and logging of shift activities and defects.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate shift personnel and coordinate cross-team communications.
