Job summary

Xurpas Inc. is seeking a Power BI Administrator in the Philippines to coordinate cross-functionally for rapid resolution of service disruptions and to drive platform stability. You will approve production readiness of BI solutions, monitor trends, and guide deployments with automation.

The role requires 3+ years of Power BI experience, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication. Expect on-call duties and opportunities to lead platform upgrades and migrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in Power BI Administration.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI platform components and administration.
• Experience in migration and deployment automation across environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod) using tools such as Python and Ansible.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication skills (technical and non-technical audiences).
• Ability to work independently and lead critical incident resolution efforts.
• Willingness to participate in on-call and off-hour support.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate across support teams to resolve Power BI service disruptions, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Approve production readiness of Power BI solutions and application deployments.
• Monitor performance trends and proactively address risks impacting platform stability.
• Manage Power BI platform components, including workspace management, report and dashboard optimization, gateway configuration, and licensing administration.
• Oversee code management and deployment processes using automation tools such as Python, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices.
• Lead initiatives such as platform upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning.
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical issue resolution.
• Analyze capacity utilization and drive optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement performance improvements.
