Job summary

Euraxess is seeking highly skilled postdoctoral researchers to join their Computational Biology Group at CIC bioGUNE in Bizkaia, Spain. Candidates will focus on developing computational approaches for neuronal cell conversion, addressing complex biomedical challenges.

The role requires a Ph.D. in relevant fields, strong programming skills, and a solid publication record. The successful candidate will work in an international context with leading experimental labs in stem cell research and regenerative medicine.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree in computational biology, bioinformatics, biology, computer science, physics or related disciplines.
• Strong computational skills in at least one programming language (e.g., R or Python).
• A strong publication record in related fields.
• Excellent communication and working knowledge in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop a computational platform for identifying hierarchical combinations of cell fate conversion factors.
• Engage in interdisciplinary research in collaboration with international partners.
• Work on protocols for the sequential induction of transcription factors.
