Gramian Consulting is seeking a Principal / Research Leader to contribute to an advanced AI research project. You will guide multi-step workflows involving proofs, algorithms, numerical experiments, and high-performance computing, while documenting model limitations and identifying promising directions for further investigation.

Successful candidates will have exceptional research credentials, deep expertise, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of active research in CS, mathematical physics, computational physics, or related field.
• Strong publication record in leading conferences or journals.
• Hands-on experience with numerical analysis, simulation, algorithms, or HPC.
• Ability to rigorously evaluate claims, verify results, and identify gaps in reasoning.
• Familiarity with relevant research literature and established results.
• Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Identify foundational open problems and theoretical bounds with rigorous progress.
• Guide AI models through multi-step workflows: proofs, algorithms, numerical experiments, HPC.
• Validate results using proofs, replication, and formal methods.
• Assess novelty, correctness, and significance against current literature.
• Prepare concise memos documenting attempted solutions and limitations.
• Suggest promising research directions and open problems for exploration.
