Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safeguard all mail and maintain high security of the postal facility.
• Load/unloads mail trucks and verify mail pieces on incoming mail manifest.
• Prepare outgoing mail manifest and separate accountable mail from ordinary mail.
• Open mailbags, sort mail by APOs or units, and process insured/certified mail.
• Provide customer assistance to unit mail clerks and conduct mail calls.
• Maintain postal stock and process mail manifest for dispatch to APO camps or airport.
• Operate or learn Retail System Software to provide postal services.
