Job summary

MR DIY Philippines is seeking a Store Cashier to join our Ayala Fairview Terraces team. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and a background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience, along with strong customer service capabilities.

You should be trustworthy, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a similar industry, good communication and people Skills, and are computer literate.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess bachelor’s degree (on Business course or any 4 year course).
• Has sufficient background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience.
• Has the ability to provide quality customer service.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented and can work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of 1 year/s experience in a similar industry.
• Average communication and people skills.
• Willing to work in Ayala Fairview Terraces.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving a receipt to every customer.
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
