Job summary

MR DIY Philippines is seeking a Store Cashier for our Dumaguete City outlet. You will handle sales, process payments, operate registers, and provide quick, courteous customer service to shoppers throughout the day.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree, has cashiering experience (POS preferred), is computer literate, and detail-oriented. You must be trustworthy, able to balance the cash drawer and report daily sales with accuracy, while maintaining a clean checkout area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or any 4-year course.
• Background in cashiering with POS experience preferred.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented and can work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar industry.
• Average communication and people skills.
• Computer literate.
• Willing to work in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a receipt to every customer.
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
