Job summary

mr-diy Philippines is seeking a cashier with POS experience to join our San Juan team. You will perform basic math to collect payments, operate registers and terminals, balance cash, and generate sales reports for credit/debit transactions.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in a similar role, solid customer service, trustworthy and detail-oriented, with good communication and computer skills, and are willing to work in Brgy. Bannuar, San Juan Ilocos Sur.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or any 4-year course is required.
• Background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar industry.
• Averaged communication and people skills.
• Computer literate.
• Willing to work in Brgy. Bannuar, San Juan Ilocos Sur.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balance the cash register and generate reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accept payments, ensuring prices and quantities are accurate and provide receipts.
• Handle exchanges and refunds quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain a correct cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
