Job summary

mr-diy-philippines is seeking a cashier with solid cashiering background and POS experience to join our Ayungon, Negros Oriental team. The role demands trustworthiness, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

You will perform payments, operate the register and card terminals, balance the cash drawer, issue receipts, process exchanges/refunds, and maintain a clean checkout area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or any 4-year course.
• Background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and can work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar industry.
• Average communication and people skills.
• Computer literate.
• Willing to work in Ayungon Negros Oriental.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math to collect payments and give correct change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balance cash drawer and generate reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accept payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and provide a receipt to every customer.
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
