Qualifications

• Knowledge of trading conventions and ethics in treasury

• Certified Money Market Professional / Certified Treasury Professional (if applicable)

Responsibilities

• Achieve set budget targets for the year.
• Monitor the desk’s portfolio on a daily basis.

Job description

This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the execution of the Bank’s portfolio strategy and aids in the management of the bank’s non-relationship cross-border loans portfolio and structured investments. The position requires portfolio simulations and analytical studies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for achieving set budget targets for the year;
• Monitors the Desk’s portfolio on a daily basis;
• Assist in Credit Committee presentations to answer inquiries on the proposed investment limits
• Analyzes developments in the loan and structured investments market;
• Assists in the recommendation and implementation of approved portfolio strategies;
• Cultivates working relationships with internal and external counterparties;
• Handles the administrative requirements of investments in terms of line set-up, interest coupon payments, etc.;
• Ensures that desk activities are compliant with the Bank’s rules and regulations, pre‑approved limits and other audit requirements including external rules and regulations;
• Prepares periodic reports for RMC/ALCO meetings;

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge with Trading conventions and ethics, Treasury products and processes, Technical/fundamental analysis / Market reading
• Familiarity withglobal credit and structured investment markets (e.g. US, Europe, Asia)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accountancy, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
• Master's degree in business is an advantage
• Certified Money Market Professional / Certified Treasury Professional
