Job summary

The Great Eastern Life Assurance Company Limited is seeking a skilled professional to assist the Head of Real Estate in evaluating and managing a global real estate and lending portfolio. You will support underwriting, due diligence, and financial reporting, while actively monitoring portfolio performance and risks.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in real estate private equity or asset management, with CPA/CFA certifications and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in real estate private equity, debt, or asset management
• Tertiary qualified and/or professional certifications like CPA and/or CFA
• Strong interest in investment management and private assets/alternatives (Real Assets, Direct Lending, Structured Credits)
• Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision
• Good written and communication skills
• Competency with office applications (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to interact well with internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the real estate portfolio strategy across funds and co-investments, and support senior team on underwriting, due diligence, documentation, investment onboarding and financial reporting

Job description

To assist the Head of Real Estate in the evaluation, execution, and investment management of global real estate and lending, and in achieving the target returns in line with asset class allocation.

• Assist in implementing the real estate portfolio strategy across funds and co-investments, and support senior team members on all matters related to underwriting, due diligence, documentation, investment onboarding and financial reporting
• Actively manage assigned portfolio, including ongoing performance review, risk assessment, and engaging with external managers and partners
• Ensure investment processes are conducted in compliance with internal policies and procedures
• At least 3 or more years of relevant industry experience like real estate private equity, debt, or asset management
• Tertiary qualified and/or with professional certifications like CPA and/or CFA etc
• Strong interest in investment management and desire for a career in private assets/ alternatives (ie. Real Assets, Direct Lending, & Structured Credits)
• Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision
• Good written and communication skills
• Competency on excel, powerpoint, and other office applications
• Ability to interact well with both internal and external stakeholders
