Job summary

INTERNATIONAL KAI-ZEN RESEARCH FOUNDATION is seeking a detail-oriented investment support professional in Metro Manila to record transactions and prepare daily portfolio valuation. You will assist the Portfolio Manager in analysis and strategy, requiring 2+ years in equities and strong financial knowledge.

The role involves monitoring portfolios, tracking market indicators, and supporting trade execution, with opportunities to contribute to asset allocation and performance reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• At least 2 years experience in equities trading or research.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, instruments, markets, and concepts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor portfolios for compliance with investment objectives and risk parameters.
• Track and maintain a database of economic indicators, market trends, and news relevant and analyze implications to portfolio holdings.
• Support the execution of trades and settlement processes, as needed.
• Review and record all transactions and details.
• Prepare regular performance reports, portfolio reviews, bank reconciliation and management presentations.
• Assist in developing asset allocation and other investment portfolio strategies to improve returns and meet team objectives.
• Liaise with internal departments (e.g., operations, accounting).
• Assist with day-to-day investment operations and other administrative tasks.

Position Overview:

• We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized individual who will be responsible for the recording of investment transactions, preparation of the daily portfolio valuation and reconciliation reports. He/She will also assist the Portfolio Manager in portfolio analysis and strategy. The ideal candidate should have at least one-year experience in equity trading or research, fundamental knowledge of financial markets, excellent quantitative skills, and good communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
