Job summary

Asian Terminals Incorporated in Manila seeks a senior Electrical Engineer to lead planning, design, upgrading, and commissioning of port electrical infrastructure, including substations and MV/LV distribution, to support expanding operations.

The role requires 10–15 years in electrical engineering and project delivery, with experience in coordinating consultants, EPC contractors, and vendors; strong risk, safety, and budget management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Registered Electrical Engineer preferred; professional licensure favored.
• 10–15 years of electrical engineering and project management experience.
• Experience delivering substation upgrades and infrastructure modernization.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, upgrading, rehabilitation, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and handover of electrical infrastructure projects.
• Conduct load studies, power system analysis and capacity planning.
• Develop master plans for substation, switchgear, transformer and distribution upgrades.
• Coordinate design consultants, EPC contractors, utilities and vendors.
• Prepare charters, budgets, schedules, risk registers and execution strategies.
• Oversee FAT, SAT, installation, energization and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety and environmental standards.
