Job summary

Agripacific Corporation is seeking a Pollution Control / Safety Officer to oversee safety, environmental compliance, and pollution control programs at the farm site. The role serves as site focal point for safety, permits, reporting, and regulatory requirements.

AgriPacific Corporation is looking for a Pollution Control / Safety Officer!

What are the Roles and Responsibilities?

• Responsible for overseeing the implementation and monitoring of occupational safety, environmental compliance, and pollution control programs within the assigned Farm Site.

• Serves as the site focal person for safety and health programs, environmental permits and regulatory requirements, monitoring and reporting, and workplace safety activities.

• Provides technical guidance, conducts workplace and environmental inspections, facilitates hazard and risk assessments, monitors compliance, and recommends appropriate corrective and preventive actions to address identified safety and environmental risks.

• Operational supervisors remain responsible for the day-to-day implementation and operational control of safety and environmental measures within their respective areas.

This could be for you if you’re:

• Graduate of Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other related four-year course. Licensed is an advantage.

• Background or experience in wastewater treatment, pollution control, environmental compliance, or manufacturing operations is an advantage.

• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in occupational safety, environmental compliance, pollution control, or related functions, preferably in agricultural, poultry, manufacturing, food production, or similar operations.

• With 40-hour Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Training from an accredited organization.

• With Pollution Control Officer (PCO) qualification/certification.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification is an advantage.

• Other relevant occupational safety and environmental training is an advantage.
