Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor pollution control programs aligned with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all environmental laws, regulations, and permits related to waste management, air quality, water quality, and hazardous materials.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of waste processing and disposal operations to identify, assess, and mitigate environmental risks.
  • Coordinate waste sampling, testing, and proper documentation for regulatory reporting.
  • Prepare and submit required environmental compliance reports to government agencies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities on all environmental matters.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on best practices for pollution prevention, waste segregation, and emergency response.
  • Investigate environmental incidents, spills, or violations, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of environmental regulations, emerging issues, and best practices in pollution control and waste management.
  • Support the company's sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

About the role
