BLU ENERGY seeks an Environmental Engineer to ensure compliance with PD 1586 and related regulations, and to manage pollution control permits and liaison with DENR-EMB offices. The role includes monitoring installations for air, noise, and water standards and supervising facility operation.

You will report breakdowns and maintenance progress, and maintain timely communications with authorities. A degree in Environmental Engineering with at least 1 year of relevant experience and strong

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Ensure compliance with the requirements of PD 1586. RA 6969, RA 8749, RA 9003, RA 9275, their respective implementing rules and regulations (IRRs), and other pertinent rules and regulations.




• Attend to the requirements of the establishment or agency prior to the construction or installation of pollution control facilities including the application and securing of necessary pollution permits and renewal thereof;




• Monitor activities pertaining the installation or construction of pollution source and control facilities with the end in view of ensuring their compliance with the air, noise and water quality standards; the PCO and the head of the establishment shall be responsible for any violations of P.D. 984 and its implementing rules and regulations committed by the establishment where the offices is employed;




• Supervise the proper operation and maintenance of pollution control facilities of the establishment or plant;




• Report within reasonable time to the Authority the breakdown of any pollution control facility, and the estimated and actual date of completion/repair and operation;




• Promptly submit validate/certified as correct by the Plant Manager periodic reports such as SMR, CMR, etc.




• Maintain liaison with the city/provincial/municipal or local pollution control officers and DENR-EMB Offices

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Environmental Engineering or its equivalent.




• With at least 1 year relevant experience in Environmental Management.




• Computer literate and with good communication skills.




• 2 Full time position available.
