Job summary

Converge ICT Solutions Inc. seeks a PMO leader in the Philippines to orchestrate governance across IT, operations, and change initiatives. You will chair steering committees, drive the program plan, and ensure timely decisions and alignment with business goals.

You will also manage budgets, resources, and risk, coach workstreams, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver on transformative projects with measurable benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5+ years in project/program management, preferably telecom, IT, or transformation programs.
• Proven experience leading large-scale programs (e.g., BSS/OSS, ERP, digital transformation).
• Strong background in multi-workstream delivery (IT, Operations, Change, Vendor).

Responsibilities

• Lead steering committee and exco meetings.
• Set / review sessions and decisions for key deliverables.
• Manage prep and maintain mother file for steercos & excos (storyboarding, timeline, decisions, backlog, next steps).
• Overall custodian of the work plan; lead planning for next phases; monitor budget and resource gaps; escalate risks and issues.

Job description

1) Cadence and Presentation Management

• Lead steering committee and exco meetings

• Ensure other workstream meetings happen (attend if needed/set separate for PMO if needed)

• Set/help set sessions/review of key deliverables or decisions

• Manage prep & maintain mother file for steercos & excos (including storyboarding, which typically covers: overall timeline - planned vs actual; decisions or demos needed; product backlog (link to quality management); raid; immediate next steps)

2) Quality Management

• Repository of all files

• Manage phase gates / sign-offs

• Ensure key milestones or metrics are achieved. What I would watch out for per workstream is (subject to negotiation; balance of time and quality):

• Systems Dev: documentation, testing results

• Business Mgt: alignment of requirements to development, sign-off of users, completion of business process (should have population)

• Change Mgt: stakeholder completeness, training, communication, adoption rate, business benefits (baseline vs actual)

• Data Mgt: data quality metrics, cutover, acceptance sign-offs

3) Plan, Resource, Budget, and Risk Management

• Overall custodian of the work plan (ask workstreams to collaborate)

• Lead planning for the next phases

• Establish and monitor the project budget

• Ensure the project is resourced (work with workstream leads for activities needed to address resource gaps)

• Escalate risks and issues on behalf of workstreams

• PMO role is to orchestrate, organize, and put everything together

• Guide/coach workstreams

• Has governance authority for the project
