Job summary

Valeo Service in San Luis Potosí is seeking a PLC Engineer to drive industrialization and automation initiatives. You will design electrical and pneumatic plans, support ramp-ups of new equipment, and manage subcontractors while creating specifications for the execution teams.

You will monitor equipment performance, lead cycle-time reductions, and connect machines to MES with effective error code management, ensuring safety and continuous improvement across production and maintenance functions.

Qualifications

• Industrialization knowledge and Lean Process Design Methodology.
• Ability to perform functional analysis and design electrical/pneumatic plans.
• Experience in ramp-up of new equipment and supplier management.
• Create technical specifications and transfer knowledge to teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment performance and drive improvements (QCDM).
• Lead automation projects and implement cycle time reductions.
• Ensure safe connection of machines to the MES and manage MTTR improvements.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to resolve issues.
