Job summary

DysrupIT seeks an Infrastructure & Platform Operations Engineer to support, maintain and improve production platforms and related infrastructure across cloud and on‑premise environments. You’ll work on BAU production support with a path toward automation and platform upgrades.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, platform operations, systems engineering or production support.
• Strong BAU and production support experience with incident ownership and root‑cause analysis.
• Hands‑on AWS experience in production environments is required.
• Expert Linux administration (Ubuntu/Red Hat) and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise infrastructure and production platforms, including health monitoring, issue resolution and proactive maintenance.
• Administer and troubleshoot customer environments, including core infrastructure, storage, networking and managed services.
• Support Linux environments and provide Windows support where required.
• Diagnose network and connectivity issues across TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, VPNs and cloud networking.
• Manage PostgreSQL production environments: configuration, backup/restore, monitoring and upgrades.
• Manage MongoDB production environments: health, logs, backups, upgrades.
• Support Docker and Kubernetes containerised environments including lifecycles and health checks.
• Operate cloud container services (AWS EKS/ECS) and contribute to platform health and capacity management.
• Use scripting (Python/PowerShell) to automate operational tasks; Git/GitHub for version control.
