Job summary

Prifood Corporation in Canduman, Mandaue is seeking a Plant Technician to perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and assist with uptime on production lines. You will help ensure reliable equipment and maintain essential inventories.

The role requires a technical diploma and experience troubleshooting production machinery, with knowledge of ISO/GMP/HACCP. Candidates must be proactive, physically fit, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Graduate in electrical, mechanical, electronic or electro-pneumatic technology.
• Experience troubleshooting production machineries.
• Proactive and with sense of urgency, physically capable.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintenance; reduce unplanned downtime.
• Preventive maintenance and planned downtime tasks.
• Manage spare parts and maintenance inventory.
• Ensure sharpened and serviced millstone availability for processing line.
• Ensure high workmanship in machinery installations.
• Assist in evaluating standard breakdowns and recommendations.

• Repairs & Maintenance/Unplanned Downtime Standards

• Preventive Maintenance/Planned Downtime:

• Spare parts, Consumable Parts & Maintenance Inventory:

• Ensures availability of sharpened and serviced millstone ready for use at processing line.

• Ensures that installations of machineries are carried out with highest degree of good workmanship

• Responsible for the recommendation and evaluation of standard breakdowns.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any technological studies basically in electrical, mechanical, Electronic or electro-pneumatic technology

• Knowledge and experience in trouble shooting production machineries

• At least one (1) year experience as plant technician

• Knowledge in ISO/GMP/HACCP Program

• Pro-active with sense of urgency

• Physically and mentally fit
