The incumbent will oversee hygiene, cleaning, pest control, water quality monitoring, and documentation of inspections and deviations, contributing to food safety and quality across facilities.

Responsibilities

The Plant Sanitation Assistant main function is to conduct and perform program verification of Plant Sanitation Programs in the production shop floor and inspection of warehouse and storage facilities. The position also ensures the GMP and SSOP are implemented effectively and efficiently.

Duties:

1. Knowledgeable on the verification plan for Good Manufacturign Practices on Personnel hygiene and employee facilities, Cleaning & sanitizing, Layout of premises and workspaces, Utilities - air, water & electricity, Waste management, Good Warehousing Practices, pest control and measures in prevention of cross contamination (physical, biological, chemical and allergen) , perform verification procedures to ensures effective implementation of Plant Sanitation programs. Program verification may include records review, procedural process verification and applicable testing verification methods and tools.

2. Having the awareness on the Good Wareousing Practices for storage facilities and technical guides for storage of raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods, perform inspection and/or implementation verification of warehouse facilities ensuring compliance to established standards and procedures.

3. Highly trained in Good Manufacturing Practices for common areas, perform inspection and/or implementation verification of foot baths, hand washing area, washing area and toilet and lockers.

4. Knowledgeable on the standards and food safety and quality requirements of water, perform monitoring of water from the source. Record and update monitoring regularly.

• Guided by the impact of any identified Plant Sanitation nonconformity, create and generate Plant Sanitation Deviation report and issue to process owners.




• Understood the significance and impact on quality and food safety; performed office drawer, bag, and locker inspection for any identified restricted materials nonconforming to GMP Standards.




• Awareness with the established procedure on Documented Information Control, ensure that there are proper documentation and records management for all paper works related to GMP and SSOP standard, specifications and/or procedures.




• Performs required documentation for the Plant Sanitation section, including a) enoding of inspection results, b) preparation of inspection and study reports, c) data analysis and assessment of inspection results.

Minimum Qualifications/ Experience:

• Degree in Biology or any Science Courses preferably related to Food Industry




• With at least 1 year relevant experience in food manufacturing handling and/or having awareness on GMP, Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures, and other cleaning and other sanitation programs and activities.




• Results-oriented and self-motivated, can interact with people at all levels of the organization, can work with minimal supervision, is computer literate, and can work extended hours.
