Job summary

Servicio Filipino, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance activities, assign tasks to technicians, and implement preventive and corrective programs for plant equipment and facilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in plant maintenance in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and utilities systems.
• Familiarity with safety standards and maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance activities and assign tasks to maintenance technicians and personnel.
• Implement and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs for plant equipment and facilities.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery, equipment, electrical systems, mechanical systems, and utilities.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and coordinate immediate repairs to minimize plant downtime.
• Monitor the condition and performance of critical plant equipment.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance schedules, work orders, inspection reports, and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with Plant Operations regarding equipment shutdowns, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure proper use, maintenance, and availability of tools, spare parts, and maintenance materials.
• Coordinate with contractors and external service providers for specialized maintenance activities.
• Ensure all maintenance work is performed in accordance with safety procedures, company standards, and applicable regulations.
• Participate in plant safety inspections, risk assessments, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor maintenance costs and assist in controlling the department's maintenance budget.
• Identify recurring equipment problems and recommend improvements to increase equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Lead and coach maintenance personnel to improve technical skills, productivity, and safety awareness.
• Prepare maintenance reports and provide updates to the Plant Manager or Engineering/Maintenance Manager.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to plant reliability, equipment efficiency, and operational safety.
